Modjeska Canyon Nursery

Modjeska Nursery is a collaboration between Cal Native Hort and the Environmental Nature Center in Modjeska Canyon. It carries forward the legacy of Tree of Life Nursery through propagation, plant sales, and hands-on learning. The project gives Southern California gardeners and landscapers a local source for native plants and expertise.

Cal Native Hort Native Plant Nursery Manual

The Native Plant Nursery Manual is a practical guide to building a nursery and growing California native plants. It covers site design, best management practices, crop protection, and propagation of key native species. Developed with horticulturist Katherine Pakradouni, it aims to help growers, agencies, and community groups expand the supply of quality native plants.
